Intensive Block Printing Workshop

• A Brief History of Block Printing.

• Introduction to Block Making Tools such as small hammers and chisels to be able to carve elaborate patterns into wooden blocks.

• Small Demonstration of Block Carving

• Understanding Different types of Blocks - rekh, datta and gudh.

• Block Printing Technique: Learn the craft of imprinting intricate designs onto fabric using handcrafted wooden blocks and a vibrant palette of colors.

• Create Your Own Print: Choose any two to print on either a tote bag, napkin, or scarf, and take home after the workshop.

• All necessary blocks, dyes, and printing materials will be provided.
• A minimum of two people is required to book the workshop.
